Volunteer Opportunities

The Wheeler Memorial Library in Orange and the Moore Leland Library in North Orange frequently benefit from volunteer assistance. Typical tasks include cleaning shelves, helping re-shelve materials, assisting with data entry, and processing materials. Individuals who interact with the public are required to pass a criminal records check.

Applicants are asked to fill out an application form indicating your skills, interests, and times you are available. Volunteers, while much appreciated, are not guaranteed future employment. The library is also not always able to match individual interests with our needed tasks.
