The Wheeler Memorial Library offers several resources for local history research, and maintains subscriptions to helpful databases for Orange residents and CWMARS library card holders.

• The library's microfilm collection of local newspapers dates back to 1883. The online database of years 1883-1979 can be accessed both in-house and online by clicking here.

• Due to copyright laws, more recent digitized newspapers are only available in-house at the Wheeler Memorial Library or the Moore Leland Library. Visit http://wheelerma.advantage-preservation.com on any of the libraries' public computers or on your personal phone or laptop to access this resource. Please ask for the username and password at the circulation desk.

• To assist your genealogical research the library subscribes to Ancestry Library Edition, which can be accessed from any of the public computers at the Wheeler Memorial Library by clicking here.
